Having a good understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of competitive media is certainly an advantage for anyone selling or creating radio advertising.

The Radio Advertising Bureau has long provided stations with competitive media research, but not every station belongs to the RAB.

So, to aid our members in their research, we've compiled the following list of the major media and advertising trade associations and their websites.

Want to learn more about cable TV, newspapers, direct marketing, etc. - what they perceive to be their competitive advantages, and what they're saying about us?   These days, consulting our advertising clients effectively demands that we have more than a passing interest in these things.

(Please feel free to suggest additions to this list. These sites were functional as of 1/29/10, but websites and pages change all the time.  If you run into a non-functioning link, please let us know.  Thanks! -Rod)

THANK YOU, You've just given us all the reason to be a member. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. I would have to recommend 2 oldies but goodies that have re-programed the way I think in this economic time. "Who Moved My Cheese" & "Swim with the Sharks, without being eaten alive" Wow it will re motivate some of us Oldies and empower the newbies. Thanks for the list.
