If you are a professional Salesperson looking to improve your skill set, training is the key to becoming an expert in your profession.  For the most part, this will depend on how your employer views the investment in training and what budget has been established for this purpose.  For those seeking help, there is a no-cost alternative on THE SALES FLOOR...

    THE SALES FLOOR

This is a Group on LinkedIn that I established in 2011. I created it to provide professional Salespeople an opportunity for no-charge sales trainingconsultation and advice in their careers. I find that many Salespeople want to improve their sales ability, yet don't know where to turn for low cost or no cost alternatives.  Employers should invest in giving Salespeople the skills to be great at what they do.  For budgetary reasons when this is not the case, many Salespeople stumble along doing the best they can with the knowledge they have.

    Let's try to change that

Whether you're a newcomer to Sales or a seasoned veteran, THE SALES FLOOR is your venue for discussion, interaction and opinion.  Have a question? Get an answer on THE SALES FLOOR. Have a comment?  You'll get an opinion on THE SALES FLOOR. The more members we attract, the more resourceful we become!  Our membership grows daily and currently stands at 225 professionals.

Here are the Group Rules for THE SALES FLOOR

It's focused on the professional development of salespeople.  We welcome everyone who wants to learn more on the skill of selling, no matter what you sell or who you work for.  This group centers on the fact that training and professional improvement is lacking in the industry, and we collectively have the ability to help each other become better at what we do.  There are only a few philosophical rules.

    1.  Discussions and comments that are primarily self-promotional may be deleted.

    2.  Discussions that are primarily links to blog posts, web sites, or other locations may be deleted.

    3.  Links to other sites or blogs are acceptable when relevant to the discussion or the comments, and can only be an incidental or supporting part of the discussion or comment.  If it is the primary part of the discussion or comment, it may be deleted.

    4.  Products and services recommended by a group member for a 3rd party are very welcome.

    5.  Members violating these policies may be removed from the group.

Let's collectively become better in the Art of Selling by helping people buy for the right reasons based on value and integrity.

How do I join THE SALES FLOOR?
