    Please Help!!

I'm looking to increase our online presence with Facebook and bump up or "LIKES".

Wondering if anyone knows of a company, website, or service that offers good prize items in exchange for on-air/online promotion.

    Thanks!!

    Matt,

Why not offer local businesses (perhaps especially those not on the air with you already) the opportunity to do this with you?  Pizzas, espresso cards, bowling, movie passes, concert tickets, restaurant gift certificates, haircuts, mani-pedicures, massages, etc. might serve your purposes and stimulate more local business at the same time.  Just a thought...

    Thanks for your reply Rod.

You're right, this would be a great idea.  In this case however, I'm actually launching a new syndicated (hopefully) show that I'm trying to find prizes for.  So no local clients yet and I'm not sure how much value they'd receive if the show's being aired in other markets.  That being said, if they have online presence they might find some benefit.

What I was hoping to find is a service that would barter things like gift cards in exchange for ads/mentions.  Does anything like that exist?

Matt - I've seen (in RadioINK, maybe?) ads for a company offering to barter travel for ad schedules, but can't think of anything else off-hand.  Read the trades - RadioINK, Talkers Magazine, Small Market Radio Newsletter, Radio World, etc.- and you're likely to find ads from companies that want to parlay their products or services into advertising exposure.  That said, they're going to be like any other advertiser - looking at the value received in exchange for their stuff.

From Eric C. White via the RSC Facebook page:

Have had great success with poll questions and also simply asking folks to share our Facebook. Had one station ask its listeners to change their profile to station logo great awareness campaign. Cut and pasting the same thing day after day doesn't work.
