We plan to create our own website. Is anyone using low cost software to track visits, clicks, etc. That could be printed to a report for tracking/sales. I know Google has something, but I'm looking for something else. Also how about a simple tool that will allow you to create banners for a site.

I would stronly urge you to work with an established pro and not use a template. I have seen companies use templates and be trapped for every change and traffic actually be diverted away from the station URL. I can highly recommend Rob Stone with the Worx Company (417-595-7960). He can design the site and get you on the front page of Google.

Google Analytics are the industry standard. Alexa.com can also provide you some useful ifnormation with your site vs. competitors.
