You've probably heard about Porsche, Mercedes and other car manufacturers that have created travel packages for their clients. You can now fly to Germany, stay in five-start resorts and be treated to a first class experience as you pick up your new S-Class sedan directly from the factory. My stations are looking to create a similiar "experience" for our new clients.
We have very impressive facilities and we're looking for ways we can bring new clients down for a first-rate tour and station experience. Anyone have any neat ways they've impressed clients or immersed them in the operational side of things? Maybe photos with the more well known jocks? A commermerative commercial produced during their visit? Interviews during the morning shows?
I'd love to hear any ideas on how we can make a unique a memorable experieince out of a traditional tour of the stations. Our group is going to brainstorm on it and I'd love to have some ideas from other markets to add. Thanks much! - Andrew
A few years ago we brought in a chef making crepes and omelets in our front lobby, and invited clients who were a part of a series we held that year. It was called "Uniquely Port Huron" and focused on why their business is unique to the area. They came in from 7am until 9am so there was never an overcrowding situation. They had breakfast, took a tour, and some even went on the air on our other stations, and they all received a radio station coffee mug filled with candies and coffee samples.
Clients really enjoyed the special attention and since it was specific to those who were on the "Uniquely Port Huron" feature other clients didn't feel left out.
