I am looking for a promotion that I can offer a client who we have been working with for 22 years.

Running out of ideas after this length of time and need your help.

    Thank you

    Hi David -

You might want to suggest to your client the possibility of contacting a jingle company to create an audio signature.  It gets the client excited, delivers better results AND locks your client into consistent radio use.

I'm enclosing two jingles we produced for two of Canada's biggest ski resorts - Silver Star in Vernon and Big White in Kelowna.  Both have been running very successfully for close to 10 years.  The client still loves them and buys LOTS of radio throughout the year.  I'm enclosing the 'full vocal' versions for each.

Bonus: there's a 10% referral fee in it for you.  Help your client, help your station and help yourself.

    Hi David

Hey how about a great jingle! Not a mediocre run of the mill jingle but something spectacular? Just kidding, although that's my expertise... On a serious note however, what about an approach that your ski resort is the best kept secret or a well kept secret?... i.e. "Shhh..." a "Bring your close friends but don't tell everybody... great slopes and no long lines" kind of approach?

The most frustrating thing with a long time client is continually coming up with new ideas. Since there are only so many good ideas in the pipeline, I would recycle one you've used over the past 22 years that was very successful.

When we recycle a dynamite ad or promotion here the response is always better the 2nd or 3rd time.

Not knowing what you have done in the past makes it challenging to give ideas but ...

First and foremost.. how about a great jingle! hehehe.. Just kidding.

Have you tried doing a weekly Ski The Slopes giveaway where the winner wins a weekend ski package for 2?

Or maybe a weekly snow update .. how much snow they have, the best trails that week.. pair that with a great commercial.

Does the ski resort offer lessons? Maybe do a giveaway with that... a lot of people may not go up there because they dont know how to ski... this would get them there... to learnn and hopefully come back.

I dont know if these help or not but there's my 2 cents LOL
