I am confident that some of the bright and insightful people in this network can help me out with this challenge.

We are a commercial Contemporary Christian Music station and we have a Financial Planner that really likes supporting our station. He has invested in some very nice schedules with what he and we consider some pretty good creative. His results have been marginal at best. Although he does enjoy supporting the station he does need to achieve some sort of ROI.

My question is do you have any Financial Planners on the air right now that are having some success. What sort of schedule and creative do they have? Why do you think that they are having the success that they are?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have block programming available anytime during the week or weekends when he could host his own "Financial Show" and take questions from callers.....even better, has he ever held a Dave Ramsey Workshop, there is a church here locally that offers the class....Hillvew Heights. I am sure a local church would let him use their space at no charge. I think the way that Hillview does it is one night a week for 2 hours, there is a fee to cover the materials (the student incurrs the cost), but people have litterally turned there lives around through this class. He wouldn't see his ROI from his students necessarily, but once people start hearing that he is doing this and people's success stories get out, he will see the ROI.

We just signed up a local financial planner to sponsor the "Golfer's Forecast." You can go to the Weather Channel website (www.weather.com) and get a great golfer's forecast for golf courses in your area. We update it each weekday and run in the morning show. He was very excited to sponsor it, though it's only been on for a couple of weeks so we'll have to wait and see about the response he gets. I feel like it will be good because a lot of his clients and prospects are golfers!

Dan, I have some great Financial Planner jingles in my library. If you send me your email, I'll send you some sample jingles this weekend. Jim Reilly American Music Concepts 732-255-1504 [email protected] www.americanmusicconcepts.com

I have found that when advertising almost anything there need to be an emotional connection.

People don't buy facts (they are only helpful). People need to be emotionally involved. Make sure your creative has that connection. Once you connect on a emotional level the listener will take action.
