Had a great needs analysis meeting today with a new prospect....found out a ton of things about this business and about his needs.

The needs analysis turned philosophical about advertising and what he DOESN'T want.  He doesn't want humor...he doesn't want fast speaking announcer stuff....this guy is right up my alley because I don't want that either!

At the end of the meeting, I told him I was going to be bringing him a proposal and didn't mention spec spot...I'm going to suprise him with that.  I also proposed the idea of daily tech tips and him being the tech tip guy.....little tidbits of tech tips to help people keep their computers running better.

He jumped all over that....and he insisted that he had 'plenty' of tips and would love to come down and record them..

My plan is to make a spec spot.....oh heck I'll just post it.....the business name is fictitious but the rest is there....please feel free to comment and make suggestions.  My plan, by the way, is to pitch him for an annual with a daily tip M-F somewhere in the 1500 per month range even though I'm quite sure he will be more comfortable in the 800 per month range.  His daily tip will only be M-W or even M-T at that point.....Monday is his busiest inquiry day by the way.

here it is:  Beat me up!

Mr Fixit is here again today to share another tip for keeping your computer running smoothly.  Mr. Fixit’s Microsoft certified technicians can help with all your computer problems like virus removal, data recovery, or the dreaded blue screen of death.

Keeping your computer running smoothly is not just a matter of keeping the antivirus software up to date, although that is important, other housekeeping should be done regularly as well.

Run your De-fragmentation program at least once per month.  If the De-frag process takes more than an hour, you should do it more often.  De-fragging will speed up your PC and reduce wear and tear on your hard drives.

Once a month run System file checker to restore and repair all Windows files.

Doing these things regularly, will keep your computer running smoothly and keep it reliable.

If you have any questions about how to run these updates, feel free to call or stop by Mr. Fixit at the corner of Smith and Wesson.  Visit us at mrfixit.com

Mr. Fixit isn’t a big box store, Mr. Fixit is a fixit store.  Mr. Fixit fixes desktops, laptops and net books, most of the time at a flat rate, so there are no surprises. MrFixit.com
