I need some copy ideas for an ATV dealer.  I know very little about ATVs so would appreciate any help.  Thanks so much!

    Diana,

I've been writing commercials for a long time and have done many ATV commercials.  ATV commercials are no different than other products.  Identify the target consumer, why they will buy the product, and what creates their triggering event to make the purchase (or start shopping).  I've found that an ATV purchase is interesting as many times it's purchased for fun activities (ie..hunting..back woods adventure) but it's justified as being purchased for work (hauling wood, pushing snow, work on your property).  If your copy can approach both uses plus have a compelling offer (manufacturers have offers nearly every month and most of the copy qualifies for co-op funding), your client will see success.  Just make sure they are airing on a consistent basis to maximize results.

    Hello Diana,

just visited the website for Dwight and it looks as though there are places for "off road" riding in the area......   as a small not so rural/urban community   your copy should mention the opportunity to see the "other world..."   of the area.  Look for trail sites  that are operated by state/county and get information from them to include in copy  for what people are missing by not having an  atv  .........
