Hello,
So I've got my foot in the door to advertise an ATV Festival at a state park.
The festival sponsors are also some of our clients who only avertise once in a while on the station. Since the festival is put on by a non-profit group the station will be matching their advertising budget with us. I'd like to find a way to retrieve even more $$$ from their sponsors (our rainy-day advertisers) during this particular campaign.
They probably can get their hands on tickets for their own business giveaways since they're event sponsors. Any ideas?
Need to get creative...
In a former life, I had an event planning company. What sponsors want and will pay more for are things everyone else can't get. The two biggest are VIP Parking and special hospitality areas just for them. The parking must be the best and the food and beverage needs to be an upgrade from what everyone else can get. Special, reserved seating (more comfortable) with dedicated restroom facilities just for them are other nice perks. Signage is also great, but make sure you control the size and locations (the only way to do that is have the signs made yourself and place them yourself). I would not give every sponsor signage. Let bigger sponsors standout.
