    Hey Everyone.

I would love to hear from those of you out there that work in Spanish Language Radio.  I manage a couple stations in S.E. Washington and would love to share some of my successes as well as learn from yours.

    My email is [email protected]

    Thanks

    Bob

I don't speak Spanish and have never sold it, but I remember what one client told me. And when I ran my agency it proved to sort out a lot of weak reps.

Spanish is a language. It is NOT a format. There are as many music format in Spanish as there are in any other language and they target many different demographics. In recent years, with the advances in Spanish News, Spanish Talk and Spanish Christian plus music that runs from mariachi to Tex-Mex and more, you have to sell the audience first. Just speaking a language does not mean everyone with the right surname MUST listen to you.

You are correct Joe.  As stated I manage 2 spanish language radio stations.  The formats are Regional Mexican and Spanish Hits.

I don't care about surnames.  I care about results.

    BTW  I don't speak spanish either...LOL
