Hi Gale,
You might want to take a look at the Revenue Opportunities section of RSC, which lists various sales opportunities throughout the year. There are all sorts of ideas for spring; for example, April is both National Garden Month and National Distracted Driving Awareness Month - you could plan promotions around either of these events.
I ran a quick search of past discussion threads, and you might find these helpful for idea-starters.

"Swing into Spring" & Other Restaurant Promotions
Friday Poll: Your Most Successful (or Favorite) Springtime Promotion
Summer Promotions (perhaps you could adapt some of these for spring?)
Jingle Jim Reilly has also shared several great promotion ideas that would work anytime during the year; you can check them out here.
Good luck!

From Mary Ellen Moss, via the RSC Facebook page:
Well, there are plenty! However, I feel strongly about a branding campaign opposed to a quick spring fling. That said, we all have numbers to make... so- Lawn and Garden, car dealers (they are spending a lot right now!), bars getting ready for summer, tattoo shops (get that thing fixed before the sweater comes off!), and heating and cooling. Good luck!
Rebecca,
Thanks for the input. I I will look into this info! You are a great help.

Gale,
If you're not subscribing to Small Market Radio Newsletter, I'd urge you to consider it. Ask Jay Mitchell for a sample copy or two and you'll see why. Great ideas every week.
As Rebecca pointed out, Jingle Jim also shares some super promotional ideas that can be adapted to nearly any situation.
If your station belongs to RAB, you'll find a wealth of information on their site. "When Business Occurs" for hundreds of business categories, showing the percentage of business each month represents; lots of promotions and campaign ideas for every season of the year; commercial examples, both scripts and MP3 audio. If your station isn't a member, contact Dave Casper and ask him about a personal membership for yourself. Well worth the investment.
Finally, don't hesitate to make frequent use of RSC. Lots of good information to be found in the forums, and plenty of members willing to share their expertise and experience with you.
Best,
Rod
