Happy Friday, everyone!
Here is this week's poll question:
Are you doing email marketing to your clients on a regular basis? If so, how often, and what sort of content do you provide?
Looking forward to reading your replies!

E-mail is important. A media kit costs about $5.00 in postage to send out and most of the people who ask you to send one only toss it out when is arrives. It's a lot cheaper to let them print it out on their end. The 1-sheets for special things like St. Pat's promotions, I send out the sheet on e-mail and then follow up. Again, it gets in to them cheaply, but the direct contact is still what sells.
By the way, I do my own e-mailing. Bulk blasts have their place but I like to pick and choose who gets what promotion. For example, a valentine package should be targeted to jewelers and restaurants. A snow tire special goes to car dealers and ski resorts. I decide who gets what
A few years ago I sent bi-weekly email, highlighting different opportunities, trends, ratings, thanks, etc.. After a while it occurred to me that what I was doing was sending SPAM. So I stopped. Now my emails are strictly biz.
On the other hand, I have clients who send humorous emails, when I receive a good one I will occasionally email it to those who tend to like amusing emails. Many times I will get a response like, “hey that was cute.” That seems to work best. I sent one this week that nearly everyone responded to . . .see whatcha think.

I send out e-mails to certain customers who want to hear a sample of my new radio commercials ! I would like
to step up and find out how to buy a list of business owners and send them all in a group of my latest sample
of a Radio Commercial using one of my Jingles.
Any suggestions !
