Can someone please tell me how to get advertising dollars from the big movie companies for their movie releases?
Michele,
Not a category I've pursued before, but I wonder if either the owner of the movie theater or the film buying house would be able to help you. Not sure if all theaters do this, but the ones I'm familiar with use a film buying service (think "distributors") to acquire the movies they show in their theaters. One such service is Clark Film Buying Service in Missoula, MT. They serve theaters all over the northwest. A Google search might reveal others. Let us know what you find out.

I used to network with video stores...or corp. offices...and get a contact information....to get this information...I worked up a promotion to network them together....that would also benefit the station in great movie tickets and video rentals and ect...give a ways...hope this helps.
Thank you.
Michele, try to work directly with the theater manager to help you with his corporate management. There is very little money spent on radio anymore... it goes mostly to TV. You're more likely to get free tickets, T-shirts and such; you might be able to bring in another advertiser to work with you promotionally (I used free movie tickets to get $ from a restaurant by adding a regular "Dinner and a Movie" contest).
