Hi, Kent. We've had some great success w/ radio. I'll attempt to attach a couple. The one that I remember pulling the best I can't find. I talked (back in the day when I was just selling) about how people would say "you don't know how much money you're going to make each month? Are you crazy?" and I said, "yeah...it's great, I never know how much I could make!" and talked about how I was putting myself through grad school and my hubby through undergrad w/o loans. I think the stories make it, if you have some. Don't script anything. Have your best seller go in and talk about what's good, what's hard.

Are you the old Herb Tarlick style radio sales? Or getting into full service advertising/marketing for your clients?
I've been mulling this myself. I have a standards/oldies station and I think I'm first going to ask "do you love WHYL?" "Do you listen just about everyday? Do you enjoy meeting and talking to people? If so, you could be..." Sales is just transference of belief from one person to another. If they love the station already and aren't afraid to apply for a SALES job (make that very clear, because it'll chase away the timid) you just have to teach them Radio 101. Thoughts?
Peace, BC
These were a long time ago, but they were really fun to do. There were versions for each station.
