Happy Friday, everyone!
Since January 1 is rapidly approaching, this week's poll question deals with New Year's resolutions, specifically:
What is your top business and/or sales resolution for 2011?
Looking forward to reading your replies!
Take my sales to the new level by being more productive and proactive for my clients.
I have an annual sales dollar I would like to hit... I hit it a few years ago before the economy took a dive--- would like to hit it again. I know its a big goal but its accomplished one month at a time. This year I missed it by just $12,000 ...so had I billed just $1.000 more a month I would have had it! I WILL hit it in 2011!
I don't have anything very specific... Just to keep prospecting and Sell, Sell, Sell!!! I have only been selling a few months and so far so good, My end goal is $250,000-$300,000 for the year!
In addition to increasing my sales goal as usual, my resolution is to send out Thank You cards on a more regular basis.
In a word, Annuals.
More and more businesses are planning out their next year right now. The days of popping up next November for a Thanksgiving buy are dying. Take this years summer and fall and Christmas plans out to the clients now.
Besides, a few 12 month, 6 figure buys make you look pretty good at the next sales meeting.
Resolution: I know that 33% of all annuals ASKED FOR ARE SOLD. (this is data from over 3000 users of InaBoxOnline.com as well as our own staff numbers). SO... knowing this, and knowing our average sale... I am confident in my sales numbers by managing accounts correctly.
I WILL take the time every day to make sure that we as a sales organization are doing everything to get our un-fair share of the market. (I will be channeling Ray Kroc).
I will NOT watch Fox News, CNN or read any of their crap. I will stick with facts, as best as I can get them and deal accordingly.
I will follow up on every lead like a starving dog on a bone and not ever give up on a customer.
I will fire people who do not have the drive, and hire people with drive... I can teach them the rest.
I will continue to develop the best sales tools there are (www.inaboxonline.com being one of the best) and will not read anything Eric Rhoades writes.
Oh and maybe I'll try to lose a pound or two :-)

That is an awesome analogy! Thanks for sharing.
