In response to a number of requests from RSC members, and to help defray some of our direct expenses in providing and maintaining RSC as a free service to our members, we are now offering a limited number of modestly-priced advertising opportunities on the site for interested parties, specifically:
1) a display or text box ad that will appear in the left or right-hand column. Advertiser must provide the finished ad in .jpg or .png, with URL for hyperlink. Sizes and rates (per month):
2) sponsorship of the monthly RSC Newsletter, which goes out to all subscribing members on the first Friday of the month (usually with a monthly poll question). Sponsorship includes 2-3 lines about your business/service and a link to your website at the beginning of the newsletter, as well as a display ad linking to your website in the body of the newsletter (these can be two different links, if you wish – e.g., different pages of a website, a website and a YouTube video, etc.). When we have more than one sponsor, we rotate positions of the sponsorship lines and ads, but each sponsor’s information and ad are always fully visible. $125 per newsletter
Advertising Guidelines (subject to modification at any time by the site administrator):
* Advertiser is solely responsible for content of his ad, including spelling or typographical errors. (While we may point out problems that are brought to our attention, we disclaim any liability for typos, spelling, etc.) Please proof and double-check your ad before sending it to us for publication.
* All ads are subject to approval by RSC. We reserve the right to reject any ad we deem inappropriate for any reason.
* Ads must be prepaid before they will be placed. We accept VISA, MC, AMEX, or a company or personal check (please allow extra time for check to clear).
* Display and Text Box Ads may run for up to one month. We will place ads within 3 business days of acceptance. Please plan accordingly.
* Sponsorship of the RSC Monthly Newsletter should be arranged by the 20th of the month prior.
