I'm working with the local employment department. They're interested in reaching employers to use their resources to recruit. We're looking for a creative way to reach out to employers that may be paying for resources to inform them of the employment department's free resources. Any input is welcome. Thx!

    Keri,

I may not have the entire picture here but I say just tell them. Get on the radio and promote what your local department can do for them and the benefit of doing it with them verses the pay competition. I don't think you need to get fancy or creative, simply state the benefit and let radio work it's magic.

Keri, assuming that your employment department has some sort of established track record in placing qualified employees, wouldn't it make sense for them to use this angle in their ads?

That said, there may well be privacy concerns (of the legal type) that preclude them from naming names in a radio ad.

Still, they could use examples with some degree of specificity: "What kind of help do you need right now in your business? Over the past several months, we've helped 5 retail stores hire 3 salespeople, a department manager, and a bookkeeper. We helped a legal firm hire an experienced administrative professional. A local dentist found a hygienist using our free service. We'd love to help you, too...."

Might be an idea you could flesh out....
