It's the first Friday after the official start of summer, so inquiring minds want to know,

Looking forward to reading your replies!

*Many thanks to Chris Rolando, whose recent post inspired this question.

On the intellectual side...a biography of D.H. Lawrence..talk about an author who could really use language the way Beethoven used music...then for fun..multiple books by Vermonter, Archer Mayor; Boston's late Robert Parker; Scotland's Ian Rankin and maybe Lee Child..All vacation reading. In between, lots of crossword puzzles.

On my desk right now to read:
    Water for Elephants
    Under the Dome
    The Leadership Challenge
    Thick Face Black Heart
    The Big Short

    Books I am writing:
Too Many Numbers, Not Enough Time
So You Think You Can Sell
and a white paper on predictive analytics

Plus whatever I find in the bargain bin over the summer! PS: I am a tech NUT, but still prefer books to reading on a pad. How old fashioned of me.

I know that I am supposed to put a list of all the great radio sales books I am going to read this summer, but I read that stuff all the time. This summer I am working my way through "Unforgettable Days: Montana Trout Fishing" and hoping to visit some of the better trout streams early in the fall.

I love to read!!! The first book on my list is Top Dog Recession-Busting Sales Secrets. It's a compilation book from SalesDog.com (you must check out this site if you haven't already). I just cracked the book to give it a once over and could not get out of it!! The One Minute Sales Manager (again). I will also be cracking the Age of Persuasion. I heard from my owner that it's a fantastic read.
