Thanksgiving is just three weeks away, and soon we'll be counting down the days until Christmas.
So for this month's poll question, we'd like to know:
What holiday promotions is your station planning this year?
Again this year we are having Secret Santa. I understand we may eclipse last year's amount of 40,000.
The Secret Santas do to extremes to remain anonymous using a person as a go between to get the money to the station.
I figure 40,000 people in the county and generous Secret Santas coming up with $40,000 to give back to the community is quite impressive but that it is the only Secret Santa operation running this way that we know of is somewhat baffling. Maybe more will join us.

Needless to say, those feel good Christmas packages that fluff up the sales after all the commercials that can be sold are sold, really add up coupled with our special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day programming. Everybody wants to be next to even a promo talking about the Secret Santa.
We have it good here and we are working hard as if we didn't. It's how we keep it good by not getting lazy or taking shortcuts. That goes for programming and sales.
