A couple weeks ago I upgraded from a cell phone to a smartphone, the relatively new
Samsung Omnia 2. I'd been looking seriously at the Droid, but after talking with a couple friends who have the O2, I went with it. I might otherwise have considered the iPhone, but wanted to stick with Verizon wireless.
Compared to the Droid, it seems to be a better choice for a business phone. Comes with mobile versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat Reader, plus Google and Bing. Syncs with Outlook. Email and web browsers (Opera and IE). GPS unlocked and ready to use with Google maps or Bing. 5mp camera with zoom/flash, HD video, media player, sound recorder, user-friendly calendar, several options for taking notes, including a new technology called Swype (you can Google it)...just a really powerful little package. No regrets.
Haven't had it long enough to talk about what I don't like, and I'm not planning on a next phone at this point.
I should mention that while there have been some user complaints about the original Omnia phone, this new version seems to have taken care of any deficiencies. Great phone!
