I have a problem. I have a long term client who is a good advertiser of mine. She runs an independent mortgage corporation office in our service area.
Now that she manages two locations the corporate higher ups in their compliance department want us to ad a disclaimer that at normal speech would be almost/if not over the full 30 seconds the customer has purchased. I have never seen something so extensive for any financial institution. They aren't satisfied with just saying "BUSINESS is a Equal Housing Lender"
The only way to make the compliance portion of the script shorter is for me to REMOVE the following:
No mention of specific loan or loan requirements
no mention of things like "no down payment/low down payment"
^The above is what makes their offerings stand out, but I can't include them in an ad or the 30 Second ad she bought now becomes a 75 second ad...
This has resulted in a very generic ad to make compliance happy, but at the most it only brings awareness that the company exists.
Any idea how to get around this?
Does it have to be in the ad, or can you give a reference to find the disclaimer online? I did that for an HVAC company:
