    Happy Friday, everyone!

Here is this week's poll question:

What is the most successful short-term ad campaign or promotion that you've put together for a client? What results did it yield, as far as increased traffic and/or sales?

Looking forward to reading your replies!

For the holidays.. we team up with the local bus company for an evenet called Stuff The Bus. We sell remotes and encourage listeners to bring new, unwrapped toys for our local ABATE Toy Store. The Toy store allows low income families to come and get presents for thier kids for Christmas. We are on our 10th year and it has been a success every year!

Another promotion that has worked fairly well is "Beat the Clock". We run it the beginning of the month- the date the client signs up, is the price they pay per commercial for the month. So if they signed up today.. they would pay $27 an ad. Our highest 6am-midnight rate is $20 so we stop the promotion on the 19th. It creates the urgency with the client to get on air sooner so the rate is less and fills our inventor at a slower time in the month.
