A recent Inside Radio article, What's That Sound? It's the Jingle Making a Comeback, begins, "In advertising circles, the jingle is suddenly so catchy again that it is staging a comeback. As marketers look for fresh ways to connect with consumers and invest more in branded audio and visual content, the jingle could be a perfect vehicle to stand out." The article goes on to discuss why jingles can be so effective.
So we thought it would make a good topic for a poll question:
How many of your advertisers use jingles in their commercials? What is the most memorable jingle you've heard?

Only 20% use jingles but we're working to increase that.
My two favorites, oldies but goodies: "Winston tastes good like a cigarette should"
and
"Pepsi Cola hits the spot; six whole ounces, that's a lot."
I have one client that has been around for 71 years that I recalled their jingle from my youth. We have our afternoon host doing live ads for this HVAC company but as a back up, I have a jingle version of their ads which I also use for streaming.
I also have a restaraunt delivery service that advertises occasionally that uses a jingle
