Best Digital Strategies For A 3G World?

A friend of mine has a small county-seat FM which covers 30,000 people around a 25 mile radius.  The largest town is about 3000 population.  So, yes it's going to be awhile before 4G comes to this area.

There is a website with a few display ads and station content, but the revenue it generates is practically nil.

One idea I have would be a "car of the day" for a local car dealer, with a small gallery of pictures on the car.  I don't know how effective that would be.  Rather, I'm just throwing it out there as an idea generator.

Anyone with ideas to create some digital dollars that are fairly basic to use in a 3G environment?

    Hi Russ,

I would suggest taking a look at something called CarPoint. It's a digital platform that is adaptive to mobile and even to 3G areas. The nice thing is that it does all the work for you, photos of vehicles, details, etc. If you want more info, please reach out offline. [email protected].

    Thanks!
