Every Monday morning we have our staff meeting which usually consist of what is happening in sports, who will be gone for the upcoming weeks, new promotions etc. the meetings last about 1 1/2 hrs.  As far as brainstorming -  another co-worker and I usually try to think of different things to help with our clients, sometimes its very helpful others its not as effective.

There are only 2 sales associates in our station, myself and another. We meet daily, either in the mornings before we start our day or in the evening after we return from seeing our clients. We discuss who we approached if new, how a proposal may have gone, etc. Our all staff meetings are about once every 2 wks or more often if the need arises. Being a small station our meetings are pretty informal, there are only 4 of us here, time is key so unless an issue arises we pretty much just "get er done"!

Every Monday at 4. Morning sales meetings when the staff is the fog is not a good idea for me. We discuss:

    • Pending business and the gap to goal.
    • Digital Opportunities
    • Event Opportunities
    • a 15-20 training segment on a part of the sales process or a new tool we're launching.
    • Idea generation.

    Every Monday at 7:45AM!

All offices log in on through GoToMeeting with audio and cameras.
GM:  What's coming up, successes from last week, needs etc.
Station Manager:  Reminders for programming events, copy changes for holidays etc,
CEO (ME):  What's going on with the economy, new sales trends, ideas on categories, Other activities of the corp
Regional Managers:  What's going on in their markets, news, successes etc.

I have attended too many sales meetings where everyone sits down and goes through account lists, collections etc. and by 15 minutes in everyone is suicidal.  The Infleunce.fm system handles all of that and being that C-level people meeting each day at 5:55AM to go over the data, GM and VPs meeting at 7:15 to go over what came from that meeting and Sales Managers meet with reps at about 8:15 daily, all of that gets handled one on one.

We have short (15-30 minutes) sales meetings MO-WE-FR at 8:15 every week. Mostly focus on where we are in relationship to goal and what we can do to get there.

Sales training on third TU of the month 1-4.

Full staff meeting first TU of the month 11-12:30 with reports from each deposit.

We have ours at 8:30 every Tuesday. We discuss rate/inventory changes, upcoming promotions or ones still needing to be sold, everyone is required to tell a success story from the week, and we usually have some sort of training that involves role play. Takes 45 minutes to an hour most weeks
