    Hi all,

here at our stations we really enjoy doing a lot of NTR stuff. Our new one is this job fair thing. Selling a booth with some mentions is easy but our packages jump greatly from 1-2k to 10k and 20k.

A question was brought up to me how do we make that jump from 2k to 10 or 20K. Yes, you receive a tone of radio value and digital but how are we able to show our potential clients the value in this. Also, they're asking us questions like how many people do we draw in, have we done this before and so on.

We haven't ever done a job fair one before but we have done other things the Guy-fest and what not, but those kinds of events are apples to oranges when it comes to job fair.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

The market always determines price. As someone who had their own event planning biz, the top tier sponsorship should be one sponsor, second tier should never be more than 3 sponsors and there should be a limit on the lowest level as well.

Personally, I agree that is a huge gap between sponsorship levels. If you have someone who wants in between 2k and 10k create something. I've done this before on a napkin at a lunch meeting (no joke).

The first event is a challenge. Tell the customer the pricing reflects that it's a first time event. Secondly, point to the success of your other events as a track record of success.
