Sales Managers (and sellers)! How many inquiries about advertising does your station(s) get per week or per month through your website or via email?
Our website is in pretty bad shape right now, but despite that we're getting 2-3 per month. We're going to be re-launching a fresh site with a much more attractive Advertising section with client testimonial videos/success stories, marketing blogs/tips, campaign portfolio/results, and a downloadable one-page capabilities kit that's extremely visual/eye-catching and easy to digest and is free of fluff like why you should advertise, why you should advertise with radio... you know, the fluff most prospects won't read and won't buy into even if they do read it! I attached that piece below.
Anyway, wondering what you're seeing as far as call ins/web inquiries for advertising and whether you believe that getting 3 inquiries per week rather than per month is realistic. Obviously we need to keep prospecting and doing outreach, but we still want to maximize the number of people who are interested in doing business and therefore reaching out to us.
