    Happy Friday, everyone!

Here is this week's poll question:

What is your typical setup or display for remote broadcasts?  E.g., do you use a station vehicle, banners, booth?  Extra points if you attach a photo!

Looking forward to reading your replies!

We at 102.7 KISSFM (Alabama) primarily use our van. We have a new audio system installed on top that sounds AWESOME. Literally all we do is pull up, turn on the speakers, and begin the broadcast. That, however, is for remotes such as car lots, local businesses, etc. We have promotional events with high traffic throughout the year that we put additional effort into setup with multiple banners, tents, etc. These events are those like the local fair, tailgate parties for our local college, etc. (The Tailgate Party photo has the van behind the booth, just hidden from that photo by the banner!)

From RSC member Gary H. Voss of Hoopeston, IL:

Gary mentioned that the station also has a pickup and does over 30 ag events (fairs and field days) a year.

    Great displays!

Would love to see others, too.

We have multiple vehicles all with a single station logo. One, has a killer sound system. We have pop-ups for every station. We have station specific product for giveaways. We require the customer to do giveaways and make special offers also.

We never do a remote for free. It appears more and more competitors are using remotes as an incentive to buy a schedule. Never understood this concept.

What they see out there is not what we see inside. Perception is reality. KSPA has a van, an EZ-up, a couple of sandwhich signs and embroidered shirts. (Actually we do the remotes over my smart phone. Full frequency hard lines have priced themselves out.)

We just added the 963 WLYB "Hooptie" With a complete sound system , and 6X10 big screen for music video and Karaoke. We also plan to sell sponsor logos on it (Annual Deals). Hey it works for NASCAR. We also wanted something that the sales people could keep on the road during the week. We also plan to sell mini weekday 1 Hour remotes. The back will pop open (with speakers). We just plug in, and we are ready to go.
