Friday Poll: Has Your Station Been Involved in a Citywide Restau

    Happy Friday, everyone!

    Here is this week's poll question:

    Has your station ever been involved in a citywide restaurant-focused event, such as a "Taste of (Your Town)" promotion?   How did you put it together, and how did it work for everyone?

    Not as such, but we ran a promotion where our listeners were asked to tell us their favourite unique pizza toppings via our website. When the winner was drawn our local pizza shop put it on the menu.
    It created on air advertising revenue as well as online revenue.
    The pizza shop also had a downloadable menu on our website. And their on air ad directed people to our website to download a copy and stick it on their fridge.
    Great promo!
