Happy Friday RSC!
I have been in outside B2B sales, but am new to Radio. With that comes a learning curve and a change in thought process as it pertains to helping my client reach their goals. That said, here is my situation:
I had someone approach me recently about vacant office and retail space they have available. This company is using social media, the local chamber of commerce connections and word of mouth to move the properties. It was worked well until recently. The property management company is now wanting to try another route to help lease the property.
They have two separate types of space available.
1.) Office suites - These are individual offices, fully built, 250 sq ft. They have a wide range of current tenants: Graphic design, multiple therapists, satellite office for a company looking to expand in the area, salesman that needed space other than his home. The spaces can rent month to month or annually
2.) Retail space - These are basically a shell and the tenant can do anything they want in the inside. They range from 1,500 to 5,000 sq ft. with current tenants including: restaurant, yoga studio, fitness center, weight loss/meal planning, boutiques..
Have any of you good people had experience with the aforementioned situation?
What are your opinions on the best way to market this property?
What types of schedules do you think would work best?
I sell for an AC and Top 40, listenership mostly women 18-54, with the AC station being played in most businesses in the market. My company also has a current country and classic country station.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
J.R.
