Happy Friday, everyone!
This week’s poll question was inspired by an article written by sales/business writer Geoffrey James, in which he explains how to give a flawless elevator pitch when someone at a social or networking function asks you what you do for a living. So, we’d like to know:
What is your elevator pitch?
Looking forward to reading your replies!
I have influence over 60,000 consumers who choose to listen to me. I have the privilege of introducing them to great businesses like yours (assuming I am talking to a business owner/decision-maker)
Nice!
Our “elevator pitch” is so short it can be delivered on a fast-moving escalator! Actually, we have two of them – one for our prospects, and one for theirs:
To radio station GMs and Sales Managers:
“Hundreds of stations use our system to bring in 1,000 more cash ads each year, usually from local accounts who had never bought from them before.”
To their would-be advertisers:
In the first minute of the interactive online video presentation we customize for stations, as dozens of sponsor logos scroll up the screen, the narrator says:
“The Time Capsule has been delivering customers to advertisers just like (you), on hundreds of radio stations across the country for the past 30 years.”
Pick a well know, appropriate size venue in your market and do the following as it relates to your audience size.
If I could put you in front of a full house at the Orpheum would you be interested in talked to me? What if I could do that three times a day...365 days a year.
LOVE it!
