This year I had some life size cutouts made for a drive through Christmas display in our. City. They were a big hit, and had people talking! They are not christmas themed, we added "props" to give it that christmas vibe. My. Intentions were to use them even after this display was over for the year. I wanted to see if anyone had some ideas they might toss my way so that I may use them to promote the station , possibly use in a contest? , and make additional revenue.

I have attached a photo so you can see what I'm talking about, but I welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have...look forward to hearing from you and your ideas!

    Hi Pete-

At idobi (an online radio station) we have been discussing some upcoming launches and promotions and we've been focusing on instagram+Twitter.  Adding the # /hashtag that makes sense for your station (#LaVoz or the #93.3 (i think that's what the sign reads) and doing some sort of giveaway there.

You could "hide" them around town -- especially if there are local sponsors that want to get in on the action.

Of course, if your demographic isn't social media-based (ours is VERY heavy into it...), this may not be great -- OR it could help boost your social media presence.   -- If someone searches your hashtag randomly, all the pics will appear of your fans and cutouts.

    Maybe this is a start?

    Good Morning Pete,

Looks like a fun idea to create buzz.. Here are a couple ideas to generate revenue.

Use the cut outs to promote a Car giveaway or big prize giveaway. Do cut out of prize and display with team, have personality holding sign on how to enter. example: TEXT to # to enter to win!

Like "business name" to win xxx (increase likes for a local business)

Where's waldo promotion: move cut outs around to different locations and have listeners e-mail, text the location to enter to win.

Day of giveaway-have Morning show team live on site, waving to people..

Question for you: Where and what was the cost to create the cut outs?
