Hello All! I am working with a dentist who is looking for some great creative to run on one of our country stations as well as our JACK station. Does anyone have any great ideas that have worked in the past?
Amanda,
Is your client a family dentist or does he specialize in a certain area, e.g., cosmetic dentistry or pediatric dentistry?
Hi Rod. I pulled this directly from their website..."We are a general dental practice offering a wide variety of services, from routine check-ups and cleanings to orthodontics and cosmetic restoration." This little something extra in offerings is what sets them apart. dies that help?
Amanda,
You might get some good ideas browsing through these discussion threads:
Dentists (discussion started by an RSC member who was looking to revamp his dentist's ad campaign)
Our company, Grace Broadcast Sales, produces a series of dental health tips that several stations have used to land good contracts with dentists in their markets (demo here if you want to take a look). Whether you use our tips or write your own, perhaps something like this would help draw attention to your dentist's practice?
I'll include your post in this week's newsletter, so other RSC members will have a chance to share their ideas with you!
Good luck - and please keep us posted!
Rebecca
Hi Amanda - I would suggest asking Dr. Stevens, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Gary to invite in 5 of their best patients, and then do brief VIDEO interviews with each of them at the doctors office on why they like coming to The Winning Smile. I would have each of those edited into 2 minutes videos, and upload then on to a new YouTube channel called "Preferred Pros" and I would post the videos there. Be sure to use an HD camera for best quality.
Each HD video should be optimized for seo so that when someone searches "(city) ms dentist" at least one (perhaps 2) of those videos has an extremely high likelihood of getting ranked on Page 1 Google results. You should also place a link to your "Preferred Pros" YouTube channel on the Jack FM home page and your country site. Next, run some promos on air letting listeners know about your Preferred Pros YouTube channel and how easy it is to find these Pros by simply going to your website. On your promos, rotate tags mentioning some of the local businesses that are on there.
Getting your client on Page 1 of Google is one of the best value proposition and retention steps you can be taking so they keep coming back to you 365 days of the year. Its your YouTube channel - leverage it with your stations/websites for a combo package that cant be be beat. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss further.
Address the issue of pain upfront. Most people who don't go to the dentist as often as they should have had a bad experience in the past so avoiding the dentist is avoiding pain. Be warned that many dentists don't want to talk about pain. Option 2, is to have some patients compare the experience with your dentist vs the old dentist. You don't have to mention the other dentist by name. This gives listeners a reason to choose your client.
These are great ideas! Thanks to you all!
