    Happy Friday, everyone!

    Here is this week's poll question:

    What information do you include in your email signature?  How do you make it work for you as a marketing tool?

    Way too much info gang. That's like the 25 page media kit. It just gets ignored. I stick to a businesslike Name Title and Call letters with my phone number.

    Sometimes I add my cell number.

    The email itself should carry the message. Adding all of the other stuff, including logos and photos is more ego than sales.

    Love the "we spoke to 85,000 people last week" line, vivid and powerful.

    I have our stations web addresses and my office number.  the below the signature line I normally have a short additional note.  Right now it says;

    "Imitation  may be one of the highest forms of flattery.  But valued even more is when people I work with suggest to others that they work with me as well.

          When marketing is the topic, thanks for keeping me in mind."

    INCLUDED IN MY SIGNATURE:  Million dollar sales results for advertisers, documented and guaranteed.

    It's all a matter of giving advertisers what they want - results.  When I follow up, I'm able to ask:

    Did you see that in my signature?

    I'm not being facetious when I ask you this, but what other media company in the market is delivering you and your colleagues million dollar results that you can measure to the penny?

    What do you make of the fact that they don't and you can?

    Do you have four minutes right now so you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt as to how you can get your share of those dollars - and be able to measure the documented results, to the exact penny?

    Love it, Andy.

    Ever record any of those presentations?  Would love to hear an example.

    Jim Williams was big on getting his students to record sales presentations, both for his analysis and help and to share with other sales departments that he worked with. Eventually I'll be uploading some of those to the page where we're archiving his sales training.  They're dated, from one point of view; timeless from another.
