With Fall and Winter on the way its time for our radio stations to start thinking about revenue for Christmas, looking for some new ideas to help generate 15-25k during this holiday season.

We have done a 'What's In The Dryer' contest and it has worked well and been fun! We have a title sponsor (obviously an appliance store) ($10 - $15,000) and then we have a co-sponsor (non-compete) also ($5-$7,000). We record 3 items going around and around in the dryer. People have to then call in 2-3x each day (whenever you want), we play the sounds, and then they get to guess what items they think are in the dryer. Each day that the items are not guessed...the 'money pot' grows $106 (our station is 106.7) We only tell them if the items is right! We have recorded things like a paper cup, paper clip, and a stapler. Each time they call, they get the chance to ask us a 'yes' or a 'no' question - those are the only clues that they get. It is really fun! People are always excited to win cash! If you have other questions, let me know! 402-371-0780 or [email protected]
