Hi All,
Does anybody have any cool ideas for a local dentistry who wants to attract more high-end clients?
Am not sure how fervently the father’s day is celebrated in your market, but isn’t it the right opportunity to gift something to your Dad. Remember how your Dad held your finger to take you to the dentist and stayed with you to soothe your pain. Isn’t it time to return the favour. Would not this dentist guy like to strike the emotions of the community by wishing them and their sons/daughters a happy fathers day!
Great idea! Thanks so much!
I'm having the same problem with a dentist. They want to talk about technology but most people want to avoid pain and not spend a lot. My client is pretty adamant we not refer to pain or the avoidance thereof.
I think it's really a matter of building trust and top of mind awareness to the listeners. We have a dentist who does a 3:00 infomercial 3x a day for two straight weeks every month. We discuss topics that he picks. Mostly about the office, employees, how they do business, make you comfortable, etc. The bottom line is, the guy has been on for 10 years doing this so when you think of a dentist he's at the top of your mind. He's the head of the dentist group too so having him on the air is key and many of his patients and their new patients always ask "where's Dr. Dan?". That really makes him feel good and he knows people are hearing him on the radio.
If he wants to talk about technology, do it, but ask for a big schedule (minimum 1 year) to let it build and be successful. Also remember to change the copy on a consistent basis. You'll be amazed at how they can take over the market, especially if no one else is advertising in that field.
Lets be honest, dentists ads (especially 3:00 worth) can be boring, but the bottom line is who do you think of when your mouth is throbbing with pain? Who do you trust? Radio listeners relate to who they hear, they already feel like they know them. That's why he should advertise to build relationships and gain trust. But it takes time.
