Planting a seed....

    Friend and customer Allen Duncan with GSB Media recently told me about this special touch he adds to his proposals:

    The paperwork is in a clear plastic folder, and Al tucks in a packet of flower seeds. When clients see it, they ask Al about it, and he takes the opportunity to remind them that just as it takes time for a seed to germinate, grow into a mature plant, and flower, so it takes time for an advertising campaign to work and bear fruit. Al commented that since most of the time the customers won’t throw away the seed packet, they’ll be reminded of his message whenever they see it.
